We’re sure at some point you’ve heard of the King’s Little Way. This incredible route that we have prepared in Vistas de Málaga will show you spectacular landscapes from a great height, only suitable for the bravest.
Starting from Malaga we will first arrive at the Conde de Guadalhorce reservoir, where the guide will tell you the history and secrets of the natural area of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes. This canyon is excavated by the beautiful river Guadalhorce.
The Caminito del Rey is known by that name because it was inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII and it consists of a 3 kilometer long footbridge, with some sections that are less than 1 meter wide and that hangs 100 meters above the Guadalhorce River. Although previously it was more dangerous to do so, now there is a lot of security and the path has been restored so that families can go there without any problem.
All this includes the guided tour of the Caminito del Rey
There are several pick-up points to start the guided tour along the Caminito del Rey, to give more facilities to all the people who want to do this tour: Malaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Marbella.
Within the good price that this visit has is included the air-conditioned coach, the guide who will show you the different landscapes, the entrance fees to the Caminito del Rey and the travel insurance.
In order to prepare yourself properly for this tour, you should wear comfortable shoes and clothes and even sportswear. The total time you spend on foot is about 2 and a half to 3 hours. It is also advisable to bring water and some snacks.
If you want to go with your family, keep in mind that children under 8 years old cannot do the Caminito del Rey.
